Yulia Svyrydenko: Grants for restoring businesses damaged by the war can be applied for through the Diia portal

Up to UAH 16 million can be obtained for restoring businesses damaged by the war by applying for a grant from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture through the Diia portal. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Entrepreneurs, if your production has been affected by shelling, apply for a grant from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture through the Diia portal. The funds can be used to purchase, deliver and launch equipment. Today, this opportunity has become available on Diia,” said Yulia Svyrydenko.

Details of the updated grant programme for processing enterprises:

• If the equipment has been destroyed by the war, the grant is increased to UAH 16 million, with 80% covered by the state.
• When purchasing Ukrainian equipment, 70% of the cost is compensated.
• The grant covers research for the launch of new products and equipment for post-harvest processing.

The main condition is the creation of at least 5 jobs and operation for at least 3 years.

Yulia Svyrydenko noted that “this has already helped to attract more than UAH 6.2 billion in investments and create more than 20,000 jobs.”
