The European Union to provide EUR 1.4 billion to Ukraine from the proceeds of frozen russian assets

The European Union will direct EUR 1.4 billion to Ukraine from the proceeds of frozen russian assets. The Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi announced.

"The funding will strengthen Ukraine’s defense and resilience. The only appropriate response to russia’s terror is a stronger Ukraine. russia must pay for every new crime it commits," stressed the Head of Government.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to European partners for their principled stance: "It gives us greater strength to continue the fight."
