
eRobota: 266 winners of the 10th wave of the Own Business program will receive grants worth UAH 62.5 million, and 689 Ukrainians will get jobs
New winners of the Own Business program have been determined: within the tenth wave of this initiative, 266 entrepreneurs will receive micro-grants totaling UAH 62.5 million. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.
“The Own Business grant program remains the most popular among entrepreneurs who want to start or expand their own business. Every two weeks, among those who have submitted applications, we determine the winners who will receive micro-grants from the Government – up to UAH 250 thousand. According to preliminary estimates, the tenth wave of this program will create almost 700 new jobs,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
Among the winners of the tenth wave of the program, most are entrepreneurs in the following fields:
- 83 – wholesale and retail trade,
- 45 – processing industry,
- 36 – temporary accommodation and organization.
Implementation of grantees’ business plans will create 689 jobs.
The largest number of winners of the tenth wave are from Lviv (46 people) and Rivne (31 people) regions, as well as from the city of Kyiv (36 people).
The eRobota project includes 6 grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurship. In particular, these are micro-grant programs for opening or developing one’s own business, grants for the establishment and development of processing enterprises, arranging a garden and viticulture, greenhouse farming, support for IT startups and starting business in IT.
Currently, applications for all components of the eRobota program are accepted. Applications can be submitted through the Diia Portal.
