    Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainians have taken out 8,300 loans worth UAH 14.2 billion to purchase housing under the eOselia affordable mortgage programme. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Teliupa.

    “The eOselia programme performs two important functions – social and economic. On the one hand, it enables Ukrainians who need to improve their living conditions to get a loan on favourable terms, and on the other hand, it stimulates the development of the construction industry. In the autumn, the Government shifted the programme’s focus to the primary market, and the number of new homes purchased by borrowers began to grow. Since the beginning of the year, 2,669 Ukrainian families have bought housing on the primary market with the help of eOselia. This is 32% of the total number of loans since the beginning of the year. In total, 14,625 families have already received housing loans worth over UAH 23.6 billion since the programme’s launch. Today, Radabank has also joined eOselia, bringing the total number of programme partners to 11,” said Andrii Teliupa.

    Over the past week, 139 loans worth UAH 251 million, including loans with a 3% interest rate, were granted to:

    • 43 service members and law enforcement officers;
    • 15 medical workers;
    • 10 teachers;
    • 5 scientists.

    Loans at 7% were granted to:

    • 51 Ukrainians without their own housing;
    • 11 IDPs;
    • 4 veterans.

    Most loans were issued in Kyiv region – 39, Kyiv city – 38, Lviv region – 9, and Rivne region – 8. By property type, 86 Ukrainians received loans to buy first sale housing, including 27 properties under construction, and 53 loans were issued for housing on the secondary market.
