  • Unified information system will improve the process of payments to IDPs, says Iryna Vereshchuk

During December-January, in the process of processing appeals from the regions, more than 200 problematic issues related to the work in the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere (UISSS), which is used to make payments to internally displaced persons, were resolved.

This was reported at an interagency meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk.

In order for social protection workers to quickly master the new information system, 21 trainings have been held since the beginning of winter. Another 3 training events are planned this week.

In addition, personal consultations are provided to representatives of the regions.

The human factor has less and less influence on the process. According to representatives of the Ministry of Social Policy, about 60% of decisions on the assignment of payments are made automatically.

"We have positive dynamics, but there is still work to be done. In January, it is necessary to solve all the problematic issues that arise when working in the system: both technical and related to the human factor. People should receive payments on time," stressed the Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
