Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, posted 04 November 2024 13:35

Starting from 7 November, international passenger carriers using the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne border crossing point with Poland will be able to cross the border according to a specific time (slot) booked in the eCherha (eQueue) system.

The registration for the new type of queue, called “Scheduled”, will start on 4 November at 12:00. Traffic will start on 7 November from 12:00.

Thus, carriers will have time to register for the updated queue type in accordance with the timetable. It should be noted that the service is available for both regular and irregular traffic.

Regular carriers will be able to choose the time intervals provided for by the official permit for a regular service. Irregular carriers will be able to use the slots for which no permit for a regular service has been issued or which have not been used by regular carriers.

As a reminder, border crossing time reservation is already available at 21 checkpoints out of 28 where the eCherha system is available. These include all checkpoints with Romania and Slovakia, 10 checkpoints with Moldova and three with Poland. With the launch of slotting at the Rava-Ruska border crossing point, this number will be 22.

The Electronic Border Crossing Queue project is being implemented by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety, the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development, the State Customs Service and the State Border Guard Service through the Digital Transformation Activity with support from USAID and UK Dev.
