Prime Minister vows process of granting of subsidies is on track and it is essential to carefully consider each application for subsidy

The housing and utilities subsidy program is being carried out according to the plan, and all social protection bodies should carefuly consider  each received application for subsidy. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the visit to the Center for administrative service provision in the format of a Transparent Office located in Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv.

The Center was opened in June 2017 and provides 97 types of services, including the issuance of pensions, travel vouchers, assist citizens in finding jobs and  providing subsidies. The services are daily provided to 1,500 people, and now every fourth application is the issue of granting or continuing subsidies. "It was an unprepared visit. I visited a working center to get feedback and hear how things are going. People raise the issue of subsidies. And I understand:  people bear burden of the cost for hot water and heating.  So, we need to support everyone who needs assistance," Volodymyr Groysman stressed - The center  and special commissions are working. I urge all social security workers to be on the side of the citizens needy in provision of subsidies."

The Head of Government talked to the visitors of the Center and got familiarized with the processing of applications. "We communicated, the process is on track,  people receive counseling while filling in documents. We will protect everyone, hence people wont’ have any problems,"Volodymyr Groysman claimed.
