Ukrainians can not be divided by political parties, slogans or preferences, because our only flag is the national one, and the only interest is the needs of citizens. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman made this statement during a traditional National Prayer Breakfast in Kyiv.
"We must understand that contradictions should not exisit. There may be political flags and views, but the love for the country should be unique - not in words, not in slogans, not in an attempt to pretending being someone else. We have to serve the country every day in order for us not to be ashamed to look at people’s eyes. We have to have a single flag - the state, the only interest is the needs of citizens who have suffered so much, and time has come to pay them back", the Prime Minister stressed.
The Head of Government asked the attendees of the National Prayer Breakfast: "Can political ambitions today be of higher value than well-being of citizens?".
He proposed to turn such meetings into a platform to discuss achievements and to jointly find solutions to the most pressing problems of the country.
"Yesterday children attended the Government session. A little girl asked why Ukrainians leave the country. I answered with a joke, but in reality it is a tragedy, and we must be united in order to stop labor migration. There ought to be will, authenticity and decision either to continue to lie or to embark on the path of the truth. I would like if we chose the second way. We must look at the future of a state, which is doomed to be successful. We will be a strong country", Volodymyr Groysman underscored.
