Families from among internally displaced persons received 475 preferential mortgage loans for the purchase of housing. Thus, citizens bought 429 apartments from individuals, 46 apartments were purchased from developers through financial companies.
The provision of soft loans is implemented within the framework of a joint project of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories and the State Fund for Support Youth Housing Construction.
The cost of housing purchased under this programme is the lowest among the state housing programmes operating in Ukraine.
Thus, loans are granted for up to 30 years at 3% per annum, based on the normative area of 52.5 square meters per person or family of two and an additional 21 square meters for each subsequent family member. Citizens have the opportunity to choose their own housing for purchase on preferential terms.
After the Government makes appropriate changes, citizens who have housing in the territory of communities where military operations are ongoing or which are under temporary occupation may also take part in the program. The list of such hromadas is approved by the order of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories.
It is worth reminding that the programme "Housing for Internally Displaced Persons" is funded by a grant from the German Government through the KfW Reconstruction Credit Institution.
One can register for participation in the programme through the Diia portal or at the regional offices of the State Agency for Housing and Communal Services.
