308 Ukrainians became the winners of the first wave of the Vlasna Sprava (Own Business) programme in 2025. They will receive grants to start or expand their businesses worth UAH 72 million. In total, more than 23,000 Ukrainians have become winners of the programme since its launch and will receive grants worth UAH 5.6 billion. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy Tetiana Berezhna.
“We have selected 308 winners of the first wave of this year’s Vlasna Sprava programme who will receive grants for the start-up or development of their business worth UAH 72 million. We continue to support small and medium-sized businesses through grant programmes, helping entrepreneurs to start or expand their business, increase production, and enter new markets. Since the launch of the programme, more than 23,000 Ukrainians have received grants from the state for business development worth UAH 5.6 billion. Entrepreneurs work, pay taxes, and create tens of thousands of new jobs in various industries. As of today, the grantees have already paid UAH 5.6 billion in taxes and fees to the budget,” said Tetiana Berezhna.
Among the recipients of the first wave of microgrants, 57% are women, 35% are men, and 8% are legal entities. More than 70% of them have higher education. Most of the grantees are from Lviv (35), Kyiv (31), Dnipropetrovsk (23), Ivano-Frankivsk (23) regions and the city of Kyiv (20). The vast majority of grantees plan to use the microgrant funds to purchase equipment necessary for running their business.

As a reminder, Ukrainians can receive a microgrant of UAH 50,000 to 250,000 under the Vlasna Sprava programme. Both current entrepreneurs and people with no experience of such activities can receive a microgrant. To receive a grant of more than UAH 75,000, a prerequisite for receiving funds is the creation of 1-2 jobs, depending on the amount of the grant. Ukrainians under the age of 25 can receive a grant of up to UAH 150,000 with an obligation to register as an individual entrepreneur, but they do not have to create jobs. Entrepreneurs in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region can receive a grant of up to UAH 300,000 and up to UAH 500,000, provided they create 1-2 jobs, depending on the amount of the grant.
Grant funds can be used to purchase or lease equipment, purchase raw materials and supplies, and rent premises. Grant applications are submitted through the Diia portal along with a business plan. The programme is administered by the State Employment Service.

The Government’s eRobota project is one of the components of the Made in Ukraine policy and includes grant programmes aimed at stimulating entrepreneurship and job creation.
