The United Kingdom is handing over another batch of portable generators for the needs of Ukrainians.
The generators will be used for sustainable electricity supply to hospitals, shelters, communication stations, water supply, etc.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko thanked the Government of the United Kingdom,
the UK Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Kwasi Kwarteng and British companies for their support of Ukraine.
“True friends always bring light! Thanks to the generators, we will ensure a constant power supply to important facilities, despite the repeated destruction due to the shelling of the russian occupiers, " German Galushchenko wrote on Twitter.
The UK handed over the first part of 570 generators - almost 200 - to Ukraine in April. They already serve as sources of backup power for reliable power supply in cases of damage to electrical equipment and networks.
