Since the beginning of March, Ukraine has significantly increased sugar exports to African countries. In particular, to Cameroon, Libya and Guinea. This was reported by Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
“Ukraine is actively developing a new direction for sugar exports. In March, almost 8,000 tonnes of sugar were supplied to three African countries – Cameroon, Libya and Guinea,” said Taras Vysotskyi.
According to the First Deputy Minister, the overall situation on the sugar market is stable. The sugar produced is enough for the domestic needs of Ukrainians and to meet the required export volumes.
