The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting on May 7 approved a pilot project on simultaneous registration (including instead of lost or stolen), exchange of passports of citizens of Ukraine and passports of citizens of Ukraine for travel abroad. The experiment is proposed to be in force within two years.

"We continue to make state services convenient and prompt for citizens, even amid war. An experimental project has been approved that will allow Ukrainians to issue foreign and domestic passports at the same time. This will minimize the time spent in obtaining or renewing documents, which is especially important in wartime, "said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

The draft stipulates for the purpose of approving the document is to improve the provision of administrative services in the field of migration and minimize the time to obtain them in the conditions of introduction and continuation of martial law.
