The state will provide up to UAH 8 million in non-refundable assistance to those who already have a processing business or want to launch new projects, announced Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a CMU session on June 24.

"This week, the Government has already adopted documents on the launch of the "eRobota" program and announced three grant programs to support the business startups. Today we are launching three more programs, which are also aimed at creating new jobs, increasing the income of Ukrainians and developing of our economy," said Denys Shmyhal.

Among those is a program of non-refundable grants for the establishment and development of processing enterprises. According to the Prime Minister, these may be enterprises in the field of woodworking, furniture production, metalworking, agricultural processing, production of building materials, etc.

"The grant can be spent on the purchase of equipment. The main requirements for recipients: the creation of at least 25 new jobs and payment of taxes. People who want to receive a grant must present a working idea, a clear business plan and attract their own funds for their work," said the Prime Minister.

According to Denys Shmyhal, for the first applicants, their personal contribution under this program should make up 30%. The state also provides additional opportunities to obtain affordable loans under the program "5-7-9" in the amount of up to UAH 16 million.

In total, the Government presented six grant programs this week. This is the basis of a large project "eRobota", which will allow anyone who has the desire, skills and plan - to start their business, expand their small or medium-sized business, as well as start a new career.
