  • Gov’t invites 130 students to take part in national internship program in the central executive authorities

    On March 4, 2019, the Coordinating Committee of the National Traineeship Program in the central executive authorities announced the start of the competitive selection for the spring internship in the system of central executive authorities. 130 students and graduates are invited to join the program in 17 ministries, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service, the National Health Service of Ukraine and the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine.  Internship will take place from April 1 to June 30, 2019.

    It should be noted that 46 students took part in the first wave of internship. On January 30, 2019, the Government approved a decision to extend the pilot project "National internship program in central executive authorities" for one more year.

    "The first wave of internship program demonstrated good results - more than 20% of participants completing internships, successfully passed the competition and work in ministries, project offices or public institutions. We want to scale this experience and to attract as many talented young people as possible to the civil service",  Roksolana Pidlasa, Advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine who is responsible for the Program's overall management stressed.

    Within 3 months of the work, the Program participants will join the formation of policies and implementation of individual projects and will be working under the guidance of their mentors: ministers, deputy ministers, directors of departments and directorates.
