The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at a meeting on Wednesday, June 20, endorsed a plan for the additional equipment of rural hospitals, first of all, regarding provision of equipment and officials vehicles The relevant decision was approved unanimously. The only condition for providing assistance is the financial contribution of local authorities to the process.

Commenting on the decision, the Head of Government stressed the country’s readiness to provide resources to rural areas, including the construction and reconstruction of outpatient clinics. However, the local self-governments should be responsible for supporting medical workers, providing them with housing. And the said issue, according to the Prime Minister should be resolved on the ground.
