Today, on June 16, the Government at its meeting supported the draft Law of Ukraine on Amendments to the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021, which identifies additional sources for the implementation of measures aimed at preventing the emergence and spread of COVID-19.

The balanced draft law stipulates for increasing revenues of the special fund of the State Budget by UAH 1.433 billion at the expense of revenues:

- excise tax - UAH 1.140 billion;

- VAT - UAH 230.0 million;

- from funds voluntarily paid by individuals - UAH 63.75 million;

increasing the expenditures of the special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine by UAH 1.433 billion and direct them to the budget program "Measures related to the fight against acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and its consequences."

The draft law will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for adoption.
