Government approves Diia.Card to enhance administration of targeted financial support programmes
The Government has approved the Diia.Card, which will enable more efficient administration of financial support programmes with clearly defined funding purposes. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko following the Cabinet of Ministers’ meeting on 30 July.
“Today, the Government approved the Diia.Card. This will transform the system of state payments,” said Yulia Svyrydenko. “The introduction of the Diia.Card allows the state to manage financial support programmes more effectively. Citizens will gain a single, convenient digital tool to access all types of assistance, while the state will have a mechanism to ensure funds are used for their intended purposes.”
According to the Prime Minister, this is particularly significant for launching initiatives such as eMaliatko, eBook, Veteran Sports, and soon the School Starter Package, all of which have specific funding allocations. Additionally, Ukrainians will be able to receive payments through the Diia.Card for military bonds, unemployment benefits, support for internally displaced persons, pensions, and other financial assistance.
