Government launches new support tool for Ukrainian educators

The Government has launched a new support tool for Ukrainian educators – the “Money Follows the Teacher” policy.

“From now on, every teacher will decide for themselves how to develop and where to study. The state will credit UAH 1,500 to each educator’s virtual account, announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. “These funds can be used independently for training courses that meet their own needs and professional plans.”

The entire process will take place on a state digital platform.

Directors, deputy directors, and teachers working with grades 7–9 of the New Ukrainian School, as well as grade 10 pilot classes of senior specialised school, may participate in the pilot.

Registration for educators on the “Vektor” platform will open in December 2025 at: https://vector.uied.gov.ua/

Training will begin at the start of the new year.

“This is part of a joint programme between the Ministry of Education and Science and the World Bank. I am grateful to our partners for supporting Ukrainian education and for their faith in our teachers – those who shape the country’s future every day,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
