The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate an additional subvention of UAH 588 million to the regions. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government session on Tuesday, May 23.

"We support regions and communities that have been most affected by the war. UAH 588 million will be allocated to the budgets of the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava and Kharkiv regions to implement 26 projects this year under the joint emergency program with the European Investment Bank," the Head of Government said.

According to the Prime Minister, these 26 projects are aimed at restoring hospitals, educational institutions, CASPs, community and cultural centres.
