Government allocates UAH 246.4 million for extra payments to energy workers restoring infrastructure after attacks

In January, nearly 12,500 energy workers who restored infrastructure following attacks will receive additional payments of UAH 20,000 each. For this purpose the Government has allocated UAH 246.4 million. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“The amount of UAH 20,000 will be transferred directly to the workers’ bank accounts. Energy workers will also be entitled to the same payments for February and March,” emphasised Yulia Svyrydenko.

The Prime Minister noted that the procedure has been made as straightforward as possible: enterprises submit lists for the supplementary payments via the Diia portal – workers do not need to apply individually.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to every person who, under extremely difficult conditions, travels to damaged sites today, rebuilds the country and ensures its resilience.
