The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 246.4 million to support the workers of emergency repair crews who restored Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in January this year.

As announced by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, these funds will be used to pay an additional UAH 20,000 to those who bring light, heat and water back to Ukrainians. The money will be transferred directly to the workers’ existing bank accounts.

To recap, all enterprises in the fuel and energy sector, municipal utilities and Ukrzaliznytsia are taking part in the scheme.

Lists of eligible workers are compiled by the enterprises themselves and submitted through the Diia portal.
