The Government has adopted a decision to allocate UAH 207 million of a grant from the World Bank for the project to transform the healthcare sector in Ukraine. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 14 March.

"These resources will be used to invest in improving the capacity of our healthcare system, digitalisation tools and more efficient management," said Denys Shmyhal and added that the Government pays special attention to the healthcare sector, in particular, the restoration of medical facilities.

In general, according to the Prime Minister, in 2025 the Government will allocate tens of billions of hryvnias to rebuild the state. He noted that this week it had been decided to allocate another UAH 2 billion for the housing programme for internally displaced persons.

"Thanks to these resources, more than 1,300 Ukrainian IDP families will have an opportunity to purchase new housing," the Prime Minister stressed.
