At its meeting on 23 February, the Government decided to allocate UAH 6.2 billion in additional subsidies to 6 regional budgets and 430 community budgets. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“We are helping communities that need it most in terms of their recovery and financial capacity to fulfil their obligations to people,” the Head of Government said.

The funds will be allocated to Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
