The Government has decided to allocate UAH 4.9 billion from the European Investment Bank to restore communities, primarily those affected by hostilities or hosting large quantities of internally displaced persons. Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi announced the decision.
According to him, the funds will be used to modernize water supply systems, rebuild schools and hospitals, and provide social housing for IDPs.
“It is important that people who lost their homes due to the war can return to normal life,” emphasized the Head of Government.
Sergii Koretskyi recalled that this year alone, 125 projects have already been financed under this program in various communities, and expressed gratitude to the European Investment Bank for its support.
