  • Government approves establishment of Support Coordination Centres for civilian population

Today, the Government has adopted a resolution "On Support Coordination Centres for Civilians" and approved the relevant Model Provisions.

The document was developed in line with the State Policy Strategy on Internal Displacement until 2025. It will be implemented as part of the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska to launch the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme.

The Coordination Centres will operate under regional and Kyiv city state (military) administrations. They will provide support and assistance to the population affected by the armed conflict, including internally displaced persons and war veterans.

The activities of the Coordination Centres will be aimed at addressing social protection issues, including providing housing and promoting employment for the affected population, as well as providing psychosocial, medical and legal assistance.
