Government allocates UAH 8.3 billion to strengthen the Security and Defence Forces
The Government has allocated UAH 8.3 billion from the reserve funds earmarked for the security and defence sector in 2026. The funding will be provided to the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Administration of State Guard, and the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced.
“The funds will be directed towards defence and security needs, service members’ pay, strengthening the material and technical base, and enhancing intelligence capabilities,” the Prime Minister said. “We are consistently strengthening the capabilities of the Security and Defence Forces to ensure they have everything they need to defend Ukraine and respond effectively to russian terror.”
