Government initiates full reset of ARMA: Yulia Svyrydenko

The Government has dismissed the head of the National Agency of Ukraine for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMA) and decided to urgently announce a new competition. This was stated by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko following a Government meeting.

“Yesterday, I approached President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with a proposal for a complete overhaul of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency. The President backed the Government’s plan. Today, at the Cabinet meeting, we dismissed the Agency’s head. I have instructed an immediate launch of a new competition. The selection committee will include Government representatives and international partners supporting Ukraine in anti-corruption efforts,” said Yulia Svyrydenko.

The Prime Minister emphasised that the current priority is to ensure all seized assets, assets of sanctioned individuals, and property formerly owned by russia are used as much as possible for the defence and stability of Ukraine.
