The winners of the eRobota grant programs received funds for the start-up and development of businesses in the total amount of UAH 81 million, told First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.
"Grant programs launched by the Government to activate entrepreneurship and stimulate employment among Ukrainians are in great demand. More than 11,500 entrepreneurs and people seeking to open or expand their own businesses have already applied for grants. Today, the state offers everyone a unique opportunity to develop, providing financial support from micro-grants of up to UAH 250,000 to grants of several millions. Another group of 164 winners received their grants in the total amount of UAH 81 million and can already use them to implement their business ideas," said Yulia Svyrydenko.
Among the recipients of grants, 157 received micro-grants in the total amount of UAH 36.6 million, and 7 processing enterprises were transferred funds in the total amount of UAH 44.4 million.
The most popular among government grant programs is ‘own business’, under which Ukrainians can request from UAH 150,000 to 250,000 for starting or developing their businesses. More than 10,000 applications have been submitted for this program. To date, 243 winners of the 5th wave have already been determined. In total, according to the results of the five waves of the program, almost 1,300 people will receive microgrants from the state.
It should be noted that earlier the Government transferred UAH 52.7 million to the first 227 winners of the "Own Business" grant program, so to date 384 Ukrainians have already received microgrants from the state up to UAH 250,000.
The eRobota project includes 6 grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity. In particular, these are programs of microgrants for opening or developing one's own business, grants for the creation and development of processing enterprises, planting a garden and viticulture, greenhouse farming, support for IT startups and start in the IT sphere.
According to the Government's calculations, the implementation of all eRobota grant projects will make it possible to create more than 300,000 new jobs in Ukraine.
Currently, applications are being accepted for all areas of the eRobota program. The application is submitted through the Diia Portal.
