    The Government has instructed the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development to quickly process and immediately allocate UAH 2.7 billion for the comprehensive reconstruction of several settlements. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

    “Last year we launched a pilot project for the comprehensive restoration of a number of settlements. In particular, these were Yahidne in Chernihiv region, Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson region, Tsyrkuny in Kharkiv region, Trostyanets in Sumy region,” the Head of Government noted.

    According to the Prime Minister, these funds should be used to restore critical infrastructure, repair and build new residential buildings, kindergartens, outpatient clinics, defence structures and administrative buildings.

    In addition, the Government has authorised the First Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development to extend the agreement with the European Investment Bank for the development of the water supply and sewage system in Mykolaiv. The main goal of the project is to provide Mykolaiv residents with a reliable supply of clean water.
