Throughout 2021, the Government has significantly expanded the opportunities for Ukrainian citizens to receive services online and minimized a significant number of bureaucratic procedures. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 29.
"The best indicator of the quality of work is that an increasing number of citizens use e-services and appreciate their benefits. The percentage of those using e-services during the year has grown from 53% to 60%," said the Prime Minister.
According to the Prime Minister, more than 20 electronic services have been added to the Diia Portal in 2021, and 15 new services have been launched in the Diia application as well as 6 new digital documents introduced, including internal and international COVID certificates.
"Digitalization of social services has also started this year. A new Unified Social Information System has been introduced, thereby allowing to automate all processes in the industry, reduce the time of receiving services and ensure their better targeting," told Denys Shmyhal.
The Head of Government noted that the system would enable saving for the state budget about UAH 10 billion annually on the processing of social services. According to him, this is a truly important reform in terms of citizen comfort and efficiency of spending taxpayers' money.
