Ukraine received another 23 ambulances from partners from different countries. The cars will be handed over for the needs of Ukrainian hospitals, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Most of the cars will be sent to regions that have lost a significant part of their medical fleet as a result of the fighting.
In total, during the full-scale russian invasion, bullets and shells of russian terrorists targeted 78 ambulances. Some of them cannot be restored. Another 106 ambulances were stolen by the occupiers.
"We are making significant efforts to restore the fleet vehicles in the regions most affected by the russian occupiers. The Ministry of Health thanks the friends of Ukraine who are helping to provide our health care facilities, the Armed Forces and rescuers with the necessary medical transport, "said Deputy Minister of Health Maria Karchevych.
Ambulances arrived in Ukraine from partners in the United States, Israel, the UAE, Finland and the United Kingdom, as well as with the support of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Victor Pinchuk Charitable Foundation.
It will be recalled that the day before Ukraine received 50 ambulances, which have already been transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
