  • A Ukrainian delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister arrived in Paris

    Today, January 26, a Ukrainian delegation headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko arrived in Paris. The visit is aimed at implementing the agreements between the leaders of Ukraine and France and in the context of the planned visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Ukraine.

    During the one-day stay of the delegation, the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine will meet with the Minister of Economy, Finance and the Recovery of France Bruno Le Maire. In addition, a number of meetings are planned with French partners, including the leading French companies Airbus, Alstom and Bouygues.

    The main purpose of the talks is a substantive discussion of financial cooperation and support for bilateral economic cooperation projects.

    "Despite the economic and financial challenges posed by the information campaign on a possible Russian military invasion, the Ukrainian economy is showing high resilience and adaptability. In 2021, we had the highest dollar GDP in the history of Ukraine - almost $ 200 billion. Therefore, the development of French-Ukrainian relations in specific infrastructure projects is very important for us," Yulia Svyrydenko said.

    During the meetings, special attention will be paid to the topics of joint infrastructure projects, participation of French companies in the Large Construction program and the creation of the Ukrainian national air carrier.

    Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, also arrived in Paris to take part in a meeting of diplomatic advisers of the Normandy format.
