Ukraine offers European consumers a reliable and secure way to supply gas as opposed to Russia's Nord Stream 2 project, which is a new type of hybrid weapon. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a joint press conference with Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

"It's not a mere gas pipeline. This is a new kind of hybrid weapon, which would make all countries consuming the resource dependent. Ukraine offers protection and reliable gas deliveries to European consumers", said Volodymyr Groysman.

In turn, Lars Løkke Rasmussen proposed to discuss the project on a pan-European level to have chance to seriously and thoroughly analyze all the risks and the role of Ukraine as a fuel transit country.
