On January 29, the State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) announced the procurement of work for the construction of traffic interchanges on road M05 Kyiv-Odesa: km 15 + 390, km 21 + 847 and M06 Kyiv-Chop: km 21 + 767.

The implementation of the construction activities is envisaged in the framework of the realization of the Project "Improvement of road traffic and operational status of roads on the approaches to Kyiv" with using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The Ukravtodor invites contractors to submit tender proposals for the implementation of works financed from the loan, in the following lots:

• Construction of Traffic Interchange on road M05 Kyiv – Odesa: Lot 1, km 15+390;
• Construction of Traffic Interchange on road M05 Kyiv – Odesa: Lot 2, km 21+847;
• Construction of Traffic Interchange on road M06 Kyiv – Chop: Lot 3, km 21+767.

The procurement procedure will be conducted in accordance with the principles and rules for the procurement of goods, works and services of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The construction of the aforesaid traffic interchanges will facilitate relieving pressure on these international highways, as well as improve traffic safety at the places of concentration of transport on the approaches to the city of Kyiv, which, in general, will have a positive impact on the development of road infrastructure.
