Free roaming in Europe prolonged for Ukrainians

Ukrainians living in the European Union will be able to keep calling their relatives at the current tariffs in Ukraine. A total of 27 domestic and European mobile and fixed-line operators have extended the agreement on affordable roaming for 6 months. They will continue to provide services to each other at reduced prices.

You don't need to do anything to activate it: the service is activated automatically and applies to calls to Ukraine and vice versa. All you need to do is pay for your tariff package (monthly fee).

This became possible after the last meeting of Ukrainian officials with the European Commissioners.

In addition, the European side has confirmed its readiness to approve an updated annex (telecommunications rules) to the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. This will allow free roaming to be introduced on a permanent basis in the future.
