The Ukrainian delegation took part in the SelectUSA Investment Summit for the first time ever. Ukrainian startup founders pitched their solutions to international investors. Among the guests of the event were senior White House officials, U.S. governors, and representatives of more than 1,500 companies from more than 80 global markets.

"Over the past 14 months, Ukraine's tech sector has demonstrated resilience and the ability to grow in difficult circumstances. At SelectUSA, our entrepreneurs shared their best practices and "advertised" Ukraine as an attractive investment destination. As a country where innovations are created even during a full-scale war. We saw interest, in particular, from our American partners. Representatives of the markets of India, Taiwan, Japan, and Israel also paid attention. The summit is expected to result in investment agreements worth more than half a billion dollars. We hope that Ukrainian startups will also be included in this list, and participation in SelectUSA will bring additional investments to our country," said Oleksandr Borniakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

In total, the event was attended by over 4,000 guests. Among the Ukrainian startups presented were a solution for 3D printing human bones and organs, a cybersecurity platform, a startup that helps to study viewer reactions to films and videos using artificial intelligence, and others. The participating startups were selected as a result of a competition that included pitching projects.

The delegation of Ukrainian startups to 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit was made possible by the USAID Competitive Economy Program (CEP) with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Startup Fund and Techosystem.
