Ukrainian farmers have harvested nearly 28.8 million tonnes of grain crops

As of 5 September 2025, Ukraine has harvested 28,768,400 tonnes of grain crops from an area of 6,932,700 hectares. Sixty-two percent of the areas sown with these crops have been threshed.
Specifically:
- Wheat: 22,048,300 tonnes harvested from 5,006,800 hectares.
- Barley: 5,290,500 tonnes harvested from 1,344,800 hectares.
- Peas: 610,100 tonnes harvested from 265,700 hectares.
- Other grains and legumes: 781,100 tonnes harvested from 291,700 hectares.
Among the leading regions:
- Odesa region: 3,448,300 tonnes harvested from 1,088,400 hectares.
- Vinnytsia region: 2,394,100 tonnes harvested from 427,800 hectares.
- Kirovohrad region: 2,208,200 tonnes harvested from 535,000 hectares.
- Khmelnytskyi region: 2,102,300 tonnes harvested from 299,800 hectares.
Rapeseed: 3,246,400 tonnes harvested from 1,274,300 hectares.
Soybeans: 135,200 tonnes harvested from 84,900 hectares.
Sunflowers: 208,100 tonnes harvested from 154,200 hectares.
Farmers in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions have started harvesting sugar beets, with 36,400 tonnes of sweet roots dug up from 900 hectares.
