Ukrainian farmers harvest nearly 25 million tonnes of cereals and pulses

As of 15 August 2025, Ukraine has harvested 24,805,900 tonnes of early cereals and pulses from an area of 6,186,600 hectares. This represents 55% of the areas sown with these crops.
Specifically:
- Wheat: 18,985,700 tonnes harvested from 4,396,200 hectares;
- Barley: 4,732,000 tonnes harvested from 1,247,200 hectares;
- Peas: 573,500 tonnes harvested from 230,300 hectares.
Other cereals and pulses amount to 513,100 tonnes harvested from 310,800 hectares.
Leading regions include:
- Odesa region: 3,425,300 tonnes harvested from 1,070,400 hectares;
- Kirovohrad region: 2,204,000 tonnes harvested from 533,400 hectares;
- Vinnytsia region: 2,082,900 tonnes harvested from 337,600 hectares.
Rapeseed harvest totals 3,014,500 tonnes from 1,184,800 hectares.
Buckwheat harvesting has begun in Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
