Ukraine has already harvested almost 63.7 million tonnes of new grains and oilseeds on an area of 18.1 million hectares. In total, 45.1 million tonnes of grains and 18.6 million tonnes of oilseeds have been harvested.
In particular:
- wheat - 4.9 million hectares (or 100%) were reaped, with a yield of 22.3 million tonnes
- barley - 1.4 million hectares (or 100%) were reaped, with a yield of 5.5 million tonnes;
- peas - 212.2 thousand hectares (or 100%) were reaped, with a harvest of 465.3 thousand tonnes;
- corn - 2.7 million hectares (or 67%) were reaped, with a harvest of 15.4 million tonnes;
- millet - 85.1 thou hectares (or 92%) were reaped, with a harvest of 159.5 thousand tonnes;
- buckwheat - 87.5 thousand hectares (or 98%) were reaped, with a total harvest of 126.9 thousand tonnes;
- sunflower - 4.6 million hectares (or 94%) were reaped, with a harvest of 9.5 million tonnes of seeds;
- soybeans - 2.5 million hectares (or 93%) were reaped, 5.6 million tonnes of seeds were harvested;
- rapeseed - 1.3 million hectares (or 100%) were reaped, with 3.5 million tonnes of seeds harvested.
Farmers in 15 regions are harvesting sugar beet. Sugar beet has been dug up on 170.6 thousand hectares (or 66%), and 8.3 million tonnes of sweet roots have been harvested.
In terms of gross grain harvest, the leaders are agricultural producers in Odesa region - 4.4 million tonnes, Poltava region - 4 million tonnes, and Vinnytsia region - 3.3 million tonnes. In terms of yields, farmers in Khmelnytsky region are ahead with 68.3 centners per hectare, Bukovyna - 64.9 centners per hectare, and Chernihiv - 63.5 centners per hectare.
