
Ukrainian farmers close to reaching the first million tonnes mark for the new harvest

As of July 4, 2025, the total area of 331,900 hectares has been threshed and 865,700 tonnes of early grains and leguminous crops have been harvested.
In particular:
- Wheat - the area under harvest is 107,400 hectares, and the harvested amount is 277,800 tonnes;
- Barley - 176,600 hectares, and 501,200 tonnes respectively;
- Peas - 47,200 hectares, and 83,800 tonnes respectively.
Odesa region is the leader in harvesting grains and legumes.
In total, nine regions are already harvesting. In particular:
- Odesa region - 175,800 hectares have been threshed, with a harvest of 516,200 tonnes;
- Mykolaiv region - 119,700 hectares, with 276,700 tonnes harvested;
- Dnipropetrovsk region - 17,700 hectares, with 37,200 tonnes harvested.
Agricultural producers in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions have already harvested 71,600 tonnes of rapeseed, which was threshed on an area of 46,000 hectares.
