Ukraine and Norway strengthen defense cooperation: drone agreement signed
Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi met with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre.
During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, preparations for the winter, and the financial resilience of our state.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government thanked Norway for its decision to maintain support for Ukraine in 2027 under the Nansen Programme at about USD 9 billion.
Today, Ukraine and Norway signed a drone agreement that enhances cooperation between our defense sectors and opens up new opportunities for joint production and the development of defense technologies.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Norway for its consistent and significant support of Ukraine.
“Norway is one of Ukraine’s key partners. Its contribution to our security and resilience cannot be overstated,” emphasized Sergii Koretskyi.
