On the instruction of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine will provide humanitarian and technical assistance to Turkey in connection with the powerful earthquake that occurred the day before and killed thousands of people. It involves sending a group of rescuers and equipment to perform the most difficult missions. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“We were among the first to offer our assistance. It is our duty to stand in solidarity to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster as soon as possible. We remember those who helped us and are always ready to help our friends and partners,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
On behalf of the Government of Ukraine, the Prime Minister expressed sincere condolences to the people of Turkey: “Ukraine knows the price of loss, and today we feel the pain of our neighbors.”
