Ukraine is not just making history today, but also building a new economy and creating new opportunities. Now is the time for Ukraine’s young people to take responsibility and bring about change. This was discussed on a new platform — a major dialogue with young people on the talk show “Better at Home!”, launched by the Office of the President and the Ministry of Youth and Sport. Three hundred students took part in the discussion, most of whom had left the country after the start of the full-scale war but have now returned home. Some of the young people joined online from Berlin, Warsaw, Prague and Madrid. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to the Head of Government, they discussed how young people can fulfil their potential in Ukraine: “To this end, the state is creating opportunities: employment and mentoring programmes, grants for starting a business, housing schemes, as well as opportunities to work in the public sector through youth councils under the ministries and the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Create Ukraine programme for young professionals returning from abroad.”

Yulia Svyrydenko emphasised that it is here that everyone can be part of major changes and create something new for their country.
