Ukraine has built up sufficient stocks of fuel and lubricants to get through the autumn-winter period.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk on the air of the national telethon.
“Today the stocks are at the proper level. They help to balance the power system based on different resources for generation,” he said.
The Deputy Minister reminded that in order to ensure power supply in the face of targeted enemy attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, a significant number of generators running on diesel, petrol or gas were imported to Ukraine as backup power sources.
“For all these consumer groups, we have built up sufficient reserves to ensure that prices do not fluctuate during the winter and we have clear confidence in a stable heating season,” he said.
