Every year, thousands of young people from temporarily occupied territories (TOT) choose Ukrainian education. However, young people remaining in the TOT may be unaware of the procedures for leaving for Ukraine and enrolling in higher education institutions. Today, Ukraine offers simplified admission conditions for applicants from temporarily occupied territories.
For a young person who has left a temporarily occupied territory, admission to a Ukrainian higher education institution includes:
- Anonymity, support, and assistance during the admission process;
- Accommodation in a student dormitory during the admission period and throughout their studies;
- Assistance in obtaining all necessary Ukrainian documents;
- A monthly stipend (social or academic, subject to successful completion of the study plan).
Admission to higher education institutions is carried out under simplified conditions:
- The External Independent Testing certificate or the National Multi-Subject Test is not mandatory;
- If a Ukrainian passport is unavailable, a birth certificate is sufficient;
- Submission of documents and entrance exams (in the form of an interview) can be completed online.
