  • Vladyslav Kryklii: Expenditures planned for the development of road infrastructure have been preserved in the changes to the State Budget

    In the amendments to the State Budget approved by the Verkhovna Rada, spendings for the development of road infrastructure have been preserved. Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii announced today, April 13, 2020.

    More than UAH 70 billion is envisaged for road infrastructure in the State Budget. These funds will be used to the following activities:

    • repair, reconstruction and operation of roads of national importance - UAH 38 billion;
    • repair and reconstruction of roads of local importance - UAH 22.2 billion;
    • road safety - over UAH 3.1 billion;
    • construction and reconstruction of bridges - UAH 500 million.

    In total, under the Great Construction program repair activities are currently underway on 150 sites.

    Under the budget program “Projecting and construction of the airfield of Dnipropetrovsk International Airport”, expenditures in the amount of UAH 100 million are foreseen aimed to carry out design works.

    Moreover, the Cabinet of Ministers will consider the possibility of resuming of expenditures from the General Fund of the State Budget under the budget programs "Projecting and construction of the airfield of Dnipropetrovsk International Airport" and "Subvention from the State Budget to the regional budget of Odesa region for the reconstruction and construction of buildings and structures of the municipal enterprise "Izmail Airport".
