The non-refundable eRobota grants are one of the key programmes to support businesses, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stressed during a Government meeting on March 24.
“The state provides funds for starting and developing one’s own business. Business creates jobs, pays taxes, exports products, invests its own funds, and restores the economy. Almost UAH 2.5 billion has already been allocated. Hundreds of new businesses are operating. Thousands of people have been employed. We are creating opportunities for more successful private businesses in Ukraine,” the Head of Government said.
Denys Shmyhal stressed that the state was also helping farmers to undertake the second sowing campaign under martial law. According to preliminary estimates, this year’s harvest is expected at 45 million tonnes of grains and legumes, as well as 16.6 million tonnes of wheat, while domestic consumption is about 5 million tonnes. According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine will be fully grain and food secure.
