Despite the war, development strategies for each community should be laid down in Ukraine. Therefore, state and local authorities continue to develop documents that should take into account all the challenges of wartime – military, economic, humanitarian.
This was stated by Oleksii Riabykin, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development, during his speech at the Made in Ukraine business forum.
“In February 2025, all regions of Ukraine will have strategic documents that will determine the vector of development. These documents will create a single logical and interconnected system. The development of regions and communities must be carefully planned,” he said.
Oleksii Riabykin stressed that preparing strategic documents now is an investment in ensuring a quality life for every Ukrainian in the future, as well as having clear plans to help quickly overcome the consequences of the war.
The Made in Ukraine business forum, organised by UNDP Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School with financial support from the Government of Japan, aims to better inform entrepreneurs about the Made in Ukraine state policy, which was launched in February this year.
