In 2023, the procedure for calculating housing allowances for IDPs will be preserved.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk during a live broadcast on ICTV. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, internally displaced persons will automatically receive assistance from the state. They will not have to file applications or confirm their place of residence, financial status, income, or anything else.

“These are indefinite payments, so people should not worry. The authorities are meeting people halfway and trying to make life easier in difficult conditions of power outages, lack of Internet and communication,” the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

Iryna Vereshchuk also said that last year almost UAH 55 billion was spent for these needs, and promised that this year the amount of payments would not decrease.
